Making Signs of the Times

Harrison Balthaser has been creating

fine signage, custom paint, pinstriping, fine and industrial art since 1987. His first job in the field was painting billboards for Patrick Outdoor Advertising in Scranton PA (in other words, he didn't exactly start small or "on the ground floor").

​

After attending the Antonelli School of Art and Photography, outside Philadelphia, he struck out on his own doing logos and painting commercial signage.

Harrison Signs has been a family venture since his wife, Melody, daughters Eve and Celia, and son Lars have all helped Harrison in the studio and are the inspiration for his work.

When not creating art, he can usually be found searching, working, or playing underwater.
